My pretty pretty friend Cat tagged me in this cute blog survey and I simply couldn't turn down the opportunity to share more random and useless pieces of my life with you!

1. If you read/watch the Twilight Saga, are you Team Edward or Team Jacob? If you don't read/watch Twilight, why not?

Ok, here's where I lose followers. I HATE Twilight. I took the bait and read the first book, and the entire time I couldn't believe that a person existed, even a fictional person, who was as pathetic as Bella. Don't get me wrong, I love a well-written story about poetic angst. But the books aren't well-written. At all. And the angst is TOO angsty. I just wanted to shake her and be like "BELLA, BE YOUR OWN WOMAN". Plus Kristen Stewart is a terrible actress and super awkward as a person. My inner raging feminist is just fundamentally not okay with Twilight. Sorry Twi-hards, not trying to be a buzzkill! I'd really rather read Harry Potter.

2. If you were a color, what color would you be today?

Yellow! It's my favorite color, it always cheers me up, and sunshine is my thang. Obvs.

3. The top 2 most populated cities in the US are New York and Los Angeles. If you had to choose to live in one of them, which one would you choose? Why?

LA. I love the culture in New York and hate the culture in LA, but the weather is just so much better in California. IT SNOWS IN NY. In case you didn't know. I have issues with cold weather.

4. What is your favorite thing about Summer?

Sunshine! Also, the monsoon season in Arizona is simply stunning. Some of my favorite memories of my youth are when my family would assemble on our back patio to watch the monsoons roll in. It was always so exhilarating and scary and fun. Plus, the desert smells awesome when it's wet.

5. How do you drink your coffee? Black? One sugar? Or, if you don't drink coffee, what is your drink of choice?


I pretty much am in love with any/all variations of coffee except black. I don't mind it unsweetened, but I definitely need cream. Too bitter otherwise! I'm also obsessed with Crystal Light right now. Like OMG whoa.

6. Are you a dog or cat person, or both? Why? Or, do you prefer a snake?

Definitely a dog person. Obviously first and foremost because Eva is really cute. I've always been allergic to cats, plus I've had some terrible experiences with Anita's cat, Popcorn. Popcorn is kind of a bitch (sorry Bits but you know Popcorn and I have a special history). See this photo?

She totally wants to kill me. I just can't imagine why you'd want to have a pet that enjoys clawing you and pees in your shoes?

7. What do you think of mimes? Do they make you laugh, or freak you out?

Hmm, I hadn't pontificated on mimes recently. They don't freak me out. I mostly just want their outfits. Weird?

8. Who is your favorite artist? Why?

I'm gonna interpret this question as including musicians as well, and therefore my answer is Tori Amos. I've been a raging Toriphile since high school and I've seen her perform live and I just want to marry that woman. I love new music and indie music and all types of music in general, but I will always go back and listen to Tori. She's beautiful and talented beyond belief, and she's an artist with substance who actually writes her own music and lyrics. I'm a pianist as well so she's always been a huge inspiration.

Plus, she's a wacko. We wackos gotta support each other as much as we can.
