Yet another meetup recap

Hi guys!

So I'm sure at this point you've been voyeur to multiple posts about the Arizona Blogger Meetup that happened last Saturday, but I'm gonna throw another one on to the pile!

I, like many other girls, didn't bring my DSLR because I knew I'd be walking a lot, I knew it'd be hot and I knew I didn't want to lug it around all day.  In turn, my new Kodak EasyShare point and shoot came out instead ($75 at Best Buy? Yes please) (also this is not a paid shout out, I really just love that the thing was so cheap and the share button is cool, over and out).  And I think because it isn't a "fancy" camera, I didn't even try to get "fancy" with the photos.  So.  They're kiiiinda horrible and not varied in scope at all, haha.

The farmer's market was pretty!  Bizzy thought so too.

I spy new friends!!  I'm still trying to find and follow all the new, amazing girls I met, so I won't tag them all yet.

One of my blogger bffs, Ashley.  Gosh dang it, she's beautiful.

Girlies taking advantage of a photo op with the bird mural!

Ashley again...can you tell I'm obsessed?

And in between the day activities and dinner, I totally had to come home and do a bit of this:

Being in walking distance of downtown is AMAZING.  It served me so well for the meetup, because I was able to simply walk a few blocks to all the activities!  Pause for appropriate rubbing-in-the-faceness. Ok.

If you want to see some more awesome photos of the day, including many of me digging through my purse or otherwise looking dorky, there's a great Flickr group here.  Many thanks to Danielle, Chelsea and Kelsey for setting up the day.  I had a BLAST!!!

12 kisses:

  10. Babe, you look gorgeous!!!

...So.... the other day Trav and I went up to Cave Creek. We went to their old town, and (even though I didn't realize it from the pictures) we found this adorable place with a little old white church building. I was thinking, "What a perfect place to get married!" And as soon I was thinking it, Trav must have read my mind, "I'm pretty sure that Ryan and Kara are getting married here". :) :) :) Let me tell you, the place is GORGEOUS and you couldn't have picked a better place! PLUS, the surrounding area is beautiful and ALL the people are soooooooooo super nice. I kept telling Trav that we needed to move there.
