DownEast Basics blogger event recap!

Last week on Monday, the beautiful Katherine and I carpooled to the DownEast Basics blogger event being held in northwest Phoenix. We were both invited to the event as local Phoenix bloggers, and it was amazing to go check out such a cute shop in our very own hometown!

We got some great little goodie bags that included a $25 gift card to spend on an item (or items!) of our choosing!

I wore leggings because I never wear pants anymore.

It was a fun night of mingling and shopping as we enjoyed the very cute clothes DownEast has to offer. They have a lot of really great stylish yet conservative clothes and have the perfect combination of youth and professionalism! Absolutely perfect for an up-and-coming young therapist who wants to remain age appropriate but also put together for work.

Hi, Katherine!

I feel like DownEast Basics are MASTERS at skirts. Their skirts were fitted, flattering and chic. The best part? They were long enough that I could sit and cross my legs without flashing too much. It's not easy for a tall girl to find a great skirt that can transition to work!

A great crowd came out to celebrate Phoenix bloggers and DownEast Basics. Including my new friend, Melanie! Hi Melanie! It was awesome standing in line with you! :)

The accessories were ADORABLE. I contemplated spending my entire paycheck in necklaces and scarves alone.

While I tried on a couple of great dresses....

I settled on a different item, which you get to see in another post :)
